To emphasize the quality of Egyptian products and their compliance with the European quality requirements and limits, EU authorities have eliminate Pomegranate products from the list of Egyptian products which imposed by the tight quality control procedures (an analysis of residues of pesticides on 10 percent of these products in European ports), which already had raised product green beans and peaches from this list while only the remains of three products is Orange – Strawberry – pepper.
Fruit Link expected to increase the exporting quantities from pomegranate to our customers in the European Union by 30% after the new updates and facilitates on releasing shipments in European ports and providing days of waiting for the results of tests carried out by the European port authorities to ensure the safety of the products.
Hence , the Egyptian Pomegranates became a very strong competitor to his Turkish counterpart, which occupies the largest proportion in the presence in the European market in previous seasons, despite the delay in his appearance for the Egyptian product of more than two weeks in the month of September each year.
