On October 5, 2013 – Agriculture Export Council – Citrus Committee has met Egyptian Exporters in Yearly Convention which hold to talk about last season results and arrange for new Citrus Season which concluded below decisions:
- Exporting Season to Arabian Countries only will start by 10th of November , 2013
- Exporting Season to Rest of Countries (European, African, and Asian Countries) will start by 28th of November, 2013.
- New quality controlling rules will be applied for new season shipments to ensure the best quality of loaded shipment inside shipper packing house and by customs office at port of loading in Egypt which will achieve the desired result of best quality from Egyptian Oranges Season and to avoid last season problem in Oranges Quality .
