Fruit Link Welcomes the Start of the 2025 Pomegranate Season

The 2025 pomegranate season has officially begun at Fruit Link, marking a key moment in our harvest calendar. As summer arrives in August, our orchards fill with pomegranates, while the grape season ends and the mango season continues.

Pomegranate stands out with its red color, sweet-tart flavor, and jewel-like arils. Native to the Middle East and cultivated in Egypt for centuries, it remains a symbol of quality. At Fruit Link, we grow varieties such as Wonderful and Baladi, and we harvest them carefully to ensure freshness, flavor, and export-quality standards.

Early Varieties in Fruit Link’s 2025 Pomegranate Season

The 2025 pomegranate season opens a new chapter in Fruit Link’s mission to deliver Egyptian produce worldwide. We grow pomegranates on our farm and pack them in our certified packing house to maintain consistent quality.

Our season begins with Early 116 and Manfalouti. These varieties show light-colored skin from pink to pale red, with arils that range from translucent to soft pink. Their flavor is mildly sweet with low acidity, making them refreshing and enjoyable.

2025 Pomegranate Season at Fruit Link with Four Varieties

The season highlights four main cultivars. Manfalouti and Early 116 are known for their light skin, translucent arils, and mild sweetness, ideal for fresh consumption. Later, Wonderful and Baladi arrive with deeper red skin, richer juice, and balanced flavor. These are excellent for both fresh markets and juice production.

At the same time, our pomegranate harvest overlaps with the Kent mango and Keitt mango season, which adds even more variety to Fruit Link’s export portfolio.
